Martin & Mason Hotel

Joan greeted us when we arrived and was awesome, and Sherry was just as great when we saw her later. Every employee was friendly and efficient. I hope the owners appreciate their staff. My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The room was cozy and nicely decorated, and we appreciated the coffee cart and drink fridge in the hall. We had breakfast at the restaurant each morning, and it was delicious. We'd stay again and recommend it to friends.

We booked eight months ahead, then got a message saying the reservation was canceled because they were “overbooked.” Maybe our rate was too good and they pulled the rug out from under us. It feels like a shady way to do business. Avoid this place if you need to count on having a room.

We had a mini honeymoon here and loved the hotel. The room was clean and decorated beautifully, and the owner was a pleasure to talk with. There was a coffee station just a few steps from our door in the morning, and the coffee was great. Breakfast at the little diner was delicious, with fresh-squeezed orange juice. We'll definitely book here again.

The rooms were a highlight, each one different, full of authentic antiques and historically accurate furnishings. Walking in felt like stepping back into old Deadwood. The elegant ballroom was also exactly right for our wedding and reception, and we're so glad we chose this historic venue. The owners are incredibly kind, generous, and helpful. You can see how much love and work they've put into the building, and they treat their guests with that same care. We're grateful to M & B for everything they did before and on our big day. We couldn't be happier with the experience, and we're forever thankful they were part of it. I can't recommend this hotel and its people enough, 1000/10.
