I was in DeKalb for an event and found the hotel very clean, with what looked like a recent renovation. The staff were extremely friendly, and breakfast was better than at other complimentary hotel breakfasts I’ve had, with a good variety of hot items. It was a 10/10 for me. I highly recommend it if you want a nice, clean, quiet place to stay in DeKalb.

A grocery store is just down the street, and the location felt good and safe. The room was comfortable, clean, and laid out well, with a mini kitchen. We had a very good stay. A group of kids kept running noisily up and down the hall. Their adult wasn’t handling it, but the front desk came up promptly after I reported it and laid down the law. It was quiet after that. They said they were having similar problems on the second and third floors, so it must have been a busload of kids. Shame on the parents for leaving the hotel to do their job. The guy at the front desk was awesome, and I really appreciated his help.

They canceled my room one day before the stay. Buyer beware. Edit: It was actually two days before the scheduled stay, and they did work to find us a room at the Hampton Inn. Still frustrating, because we prefer having a kitchenette.

I’ve stayed here several times while visiting my son during football season. It’s always been clean and comfortable, and pretty much the nicest and newest hotel in the area. The staff have been A+ every time, and the breakfast buffet has decent options. I’d highly recommend it.
