Casa Palmero at Pebble Beach

We had such a fun stay at this Mediterranean gem near Pebble Beach. The suite had a fireplace, a soaking tub, and a private hot tub on the patio. Breakfast baskets were a lovely surprise, and we liked having evening cocktails at the lounge. The shuttle to the nearby spa was an added treat. Cozy, luxurious, and still relaxed, it was a great couples getaway.

There are only 24 rooms, and the staff seemed to be right there whenever I needed anything. Casa Palmera is beside Pebble Beach Lodge, right by the first tee at Pebble Beach. When you reach the booth on the famous 17 mile drive, they radio ahead, and a concierge meets you on arrival and takes you straight to your room. No front desk check-in needed. They’ll drive you wherever you want to go in a Tesla, and I went to darling Carmel to shop yesterday. Breakfast is brought to your room with white tablecloths and a flower. There’s free happy hour at 5 pm with amazing food, plus free pastries and nightcap hour at 8 pm, all included. They also do evening turndown service. It’s the only hotel in Pebble Beach where you can use the amazing spa without booking a service. Our suite has a fireplace and an outdoor hot tub. My husband played Pebble Beach yesterday and Spy Glass Hill today. I’m not sure why you’d leave this place.

A beautiful setting, with amazing service. One of the great gems.

During our roughly five-week trip across the USA, this was the one place we really didn’t want to leave. We spent three nights at Casa Palmero in August 2024 and played Pebble Beach Golf Course during our stay. From the moment we arrived, the whole team made it feel like a relaxing escape, with service that was hard to describe. Michael welcomed us with a tour and shared the building’s history and the free and paid services, including snack bars, daily in-room breakfast, and cocktail hours. Michelle was friendly and helped arrange extra bookings and services before we arrived. Martin was always checking whether he could help with anything. Everyone went above and beyond, and it may have been the best service we’ve ever had. Dinner was exceptional, and breakfast in the room each day was very good. The spa facilities were amazing too. We didn’t book treatments, but could use the sauna, ice bath, hot tub, and other general facilities. We’ll definitely return to Pebble Beach and wouldn’t hesitate to book Casa Palmero again. If you’re considering a stay, you won’t regret it.
