We spent Thanksgiving here to visit family in Boynton Beach, after I searched for weeks for the right room. Our king balcony room was huge, clean, and great, and the hotel was close to lots of things. We were able to check in hours early, which helped after our nine-hour drive. The staff were top tier, and breakfast was a 7 out of 10, better than the bland hotel breakfasts I’m used to. Parking was easy, and while it cost extra, it was worth it. We had a couple of small snags, like having to ask for tissues, towels, and rags, but nothing major. The bed was firm, which was tough since we prefer a soft bed, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. If you have back issues or bed softness matters a lot to you, you may want to consider somewhere else. They don’t provide extra padding, but did give us extra down comforters to help. It’s a great hotel for a three-star stay. If you’re thinking of booking, just do it.

Stay: January 14th, 2026. Price: $269. Room 331, two queen beds. Paid underground parking. The gym is bright and spacious, and stays open 24 hours. The outdoor pool is small but clean. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn setup. The Strawberry special waffle was okay, while the hot options were better than average, so credit to the kitchen staff. The room faces south over Federal Highway and has the usual two-queen layout, a huge window, and a tall ceiling. The bathroom was very nice, and the shower pressure was incredible after a long travel day. One problem: the toilet seat hinge was broken. I reported it to staff, hopefully they fixed it. This is probably one of the nicest Hampton Inn locations around. It feels quite modern, and the lobby and breakfast area are a big step up from a typical Hampton Inn. The entrance is on a back side street instead of directly off Atlantic Avenue. Atlantic Avenue is a short walk away, with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops. A free shuttle can also take you there and to nearby spots. The price is the main drawback. Nearly $300 is a premium for a Hampton Inn and hardly a bargain, though similar places nearby cost about the same or more. Price aside, this is a top tier Hampton Inn and a good choice in the area.

Angel is one of a kind. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with kindness and respect, and Angel made the resort feel like home. We had the best stay ever, with the Delray strip right here.

It’s easy to walk to the arts district and Atlantic Avenue, where there’s plenty of shopping, dining, and things to do. The hotel was impeccably clean, the pillows and mattresses were comfortable, and the staff were super nice. Housekeeping was available every day. I thought the free breakfast was great, just what you expect from a Hampton Inn.

I was eight months pregnant and in town for a baby shower when I stayed at the Hampton Inn Delray Beach. Unfortunately, the front desk service was very disappointing. I called around 8 a.m. to ask politely about early check-in. Robin told me right away that they couldn’t accommodate it. I explained that some family members with reservations couldn’t come because of the government shutdown and TSA issues, and wondered whether any rooms might now be available. Before I could finish, she cut me off, said I “don’t know their system,” and told me not to tell her what the hotel could or couldn’t do. We’d been on the phone for less than 30 seconds, and she was already rude, raising her voice and dismissing me. When I asked for a manager, she refused. After that harsh call, I waited until 1 p.m. and went in person to ask if a room might be ready. The woman at the desk rolled her eyes at me for asking. It felt incredibly unwelcoming. The hotel itself may be fine, but the service from multiple staff members was unprofessional, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude. Traveling heavily pregnant, I expected basic courtesy, and didn’t get it.
