We had a king room on the third floor, but the mildew smell hit us as soon as we opened the door, after we'd already noticed a strong fragrance at check-in. There was mold growing on the ceiling, so we went right back down and checked out. The front desk person was nice, but avoid this property.

They're renovating the whole place right now, so there's no pool or gym and similar facilities aren't available. Still, the rooms are comfortable and it's a great place to stay when visiting nearby parks or the casino.

The staff were nice and understanding, and they deserve a raise. The stay itself was a mess. The front desk was just a closet with a computer, and the property was under a complete overhaul, with dust everywhere like a worksite. They said we could use the pool if we didn't mind the dust, but it looked like a pond. We got stuck in the elevator. When the door finally opened, the desk person said you just have to push a little harder on the button. The hallway was dusty, humid, and had no AC. I hoped the room might be better, but it wasn't. I'll spare the awful details. They should close this place until the remodeling is done, or the reviews will never recover.

The second floor felt like stepping back into the 1960s after the renovation work on the first floor. The walls were dark and dirty, the carpet was stained and dirty, and the rooms were worse.
