Hilton Garden Inn Denver Airport Tower Road

We were dropped off by family, checked in as Hilton members, and our rooms were ready early. The hotel is very close to the airport, and it’s clean and modern throughout. We had a nice dinner and drinks there, with friendly, capable service. The Wi-Fi worked well, too.

The room was roomy and the beds were comfortable, as expected. Still, this was probably the worst Hilton I’ve stayed at. As a Hilton rewards member, I was very unhappy to find an extra overnight parking charge and no complimentary breakfast for reward members. The staff were extremely rude when I asked about breakfast. On our last morning, housekeeping came into our room without warning before 8 am while we were still in bed. I won’t stay here again.

They charge Hilton Honors members too, $15 for parking, $16 for breakfast, and $3 for each bottle of water. This isn’t a resort level hotel, so the parking fee is ridiculous, especially with plenty of parking around. When I asked about the water and the other charges, the desk staff were absolutely rude. I’d never stay here again.

I appreciated how clean, comfortable, and well maintained the room was, and I had a pleasant stay there. The service didn’t live up to the accommodations, though. The gentleman working that evening wasn’t very helpful, and as a member I expected more attentiveness and willingness to accommodate requests. I felt like my concerns weren’t taken seriously. Better customer service would make a real difference.
