Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Denver Airport by IHG

I got to rest and catch the shuttle back to the airport the next morning, which was a huge relief after my connection was canceled on Christmas night. I was stuck at Denver Airport, trying to get to my kids, and the whole hotel team made a rough situation much easier. When I called Holliday Inn Express, the man on the phone patiently walked me through my options and reminded me my old IHG membership could save me money. I booked a reasonably priced King room, but worried about getting picked up on Christmas. He spent at least half an hour guiding me through the airport to the shuttle, and stayed on the phone while I took the train between terminals so he could make sure I was okay. The shuttle still comes every half hour, and thanks to that driver too. The front desk staff were kind and smiling while working Christmas night, away from their families. The hotel was very clean and sanitary, with an updated, modern, almost upscale design. I expected a worn place full of weary travelers, so I was surprised. Huge thanks to everyone for the service and care from start to finish.

The rooms were clean and really comfortable, and there are places to eat nearby. It's about a ten-minute drive to return a rental car, so this works well for an early airport flight. The one downside is that there's no food or bar service at the hotel.

This is our go-to for airport trips, especially with the kids since the shuttle and parking make everything easier. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. I made a mistake on my reservation, and Matthew fixed it quickly and kindly. The night clerk was attentive and helpful too. We had a great experience.

The room had plenty of space and a good work area, and there’s a restaurant just across the parking lot. The staff were friendly, the lobby looked nice with its Christmas decorations, and there’s an airport shuttle. The AC and heat were loud, but everything else was nice.
