We enjoyed the porch on sunny days, and the location was perfect for walking to everything in Highlands. Our unit was on the 3rd floor with a sunrise view, looking over Highland Brew across the street. We used the kitchen during our week-long stay, but the shared areas were pretty beat up, as the whole place is being used as a VRBO. Soundproofing was only so-so; we could hear people walking above us and traffic or the food truck on 29th Ave. There was no garage parking included with our unit, so we used free spots on 28th and 29th Ave. Read the signs carefully and watch out for homeless.

Espadin was in a great spot near music venues, Ball Stadium, Invesco, restaurants, and shopping. We needed somewhere close to downtown with indoor parking and, most of all, a place that allowed dogs, so the amenities suited us: a stove, microwave, dishes, refrigerator, washer and dryer, an indoor parking option, and an outdoor area to walk the dogs. We stayed about 4 days. It wasn't filthy, but neither inside nor outside was very clean. On our walks, there was broken glass, vomit on top of the wall around the building above the stairs, and a broken bottle full of large omega fish oil vitamins. It didn't seem like anyone maintained the outside, and we had to take the dogs past that mess. Inside, a dog peed in the elevator one day, and the smell was never cleaned up. The white couch in our condo was covered in stains, so I bought an affordable sheet at Walmart to cover it before we could sit and watch TV. We wanted a king bed and expected it to be good quality, plush, and comfortable based on past experience, but the mattress felt more like a futon and we didn't sleep well. I always read reviews before booking because hearing other people's opinions and experiences is smart, which is why I'm sharing ours. It wasn't the worst place, but for the price I expected more, and we won't return. If this review leads to improvements in these areas, it could be a very nice place.

The rooms were spacious, with modern appliances, good showers, and comfortable beds. The accommodations were very serviceable, though the decor felt sterile and generic. During our stay, the elevator smelled foul, with perfumed deodorizer spray being used to cover it.

We liked the place a lot and will look for your properties in other cities. Just one thought about the bunk: the bottom bed ought to be wider, ideally double size, while the top can be a twin. That way the person on the bottom wouldn't have to worry about hitting their head when getting up. The rooms were great otherwise.

For business trips, I've stayed at Espadin LoHi several times. It's usually quiet and comfortable, and I enjoy choosing it instead of a hotel.
