Inn at Arch Rock

The Inn’s service was friendly and welcoming, and we thought it was very good value for the money. It’s a 1940s gem in a spectacular spot overlooking Depoe Bay, the kind of place families return to year after year. This was my first visit, but I’ll be back. Our room had a sitting area and table with a lovely water view. We wandered the grounds, sat in the outdoor chairs, and used the picnic table. Breakfast was a treat too, with delicious muffins and great coffee roasted locally just for the Inn.

Room 6 had a phenomenal view of the cliffs at depoe bay, and this little inn has a cozy atmosphere and a great location. Some of the accommodations were a bit ramshackle, and the TV barely worked while we were there. Still, it’s a good jumping-off point for exploring this reigon of the oregon coast.

The room’s location was great, with a balcony and ocean views, but housekeeping had missed some things. The carpet hadn’t been vacuumed, and there was a pile of dirt along with someone’s prescription pills on it. In the bathroom, staff had left a washcloth from the previous guest. I’m giving four stars despite that.

We only spent one night, but the stay left quite an impression. The person at check-in was polite and suggested some great nearby spots. Breakfast had waffles and much more variety than we expected, and there were binoculars in the room for whale watching. I’d highly recommend it and would book again.
