Keystone Vacation Rentals Village at North Pointe

We had such a trip at the Keystone Village at North Pointe condos, where we spent a few days with the family. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed, and we saw whales almost every day. Whenever we had questions, the Keystone staff were quick to help and very kind. My wife especially appreciated that. We hope to come back to the area soon.

Staying in a unit with Keystone Vacations made my Oregon coast trip even better. Check-in was easy, and everything during our stay was more than we expected. The hot tubs looking out over the beach are hard to beat. Thanks for a great stay.

We booked through this company for our 20th wedding anniversary, but the communication before, during, and after the visit felt unprofessional and dismissive. I’d first sent a polite note asking whether our dates would trigger the seasonal or holiday rate that requires a three night stay under the host/HOA rules. No one acknowledged or answered it. Closer to the visit, I asked if the apartment had AC. The reply was, “Most homes along the Oregon coast do not have A/C. Believe the temperature last night dropped to 43 degrees.” That ignored my concern about daytime heat and gave me no useful guidance. I also asked about checkout because the confirmation email only gave the time. They replied, “There are check out instructions in the Welcome Notebook,” without saying where it was. We later found it on the kitchen counter, which we hadn’t used. When I noticed the fireplace pilot light was on after we arrived, I asked if it should be turned off before we left. That time, a staff member answered politely and helpfully, and I appreciated their professional tone. After I submitted my guest review, though, I got a message saying, “Jennifer, we tried to be pleasant in our review about you and almost gave you one star due to the ridiculous questions and communication. Suffice to say, we look forward to never hosting you again.” It was unprofessional and uncalled for. My questions were appropriate and respectfully worded. This experience showed a serious lack of customer service and hospitality, and I hope the complaint leads to more respectful communication with future guests.

Whale watching from the balcony, walking to Tidal Raves, and swimming in the indoor pool made for a fantastic stay at the Ocean's Melody vacation home. Our kids especially loved the game cabinet, and we had every amenity and feature we needed. The home was extremely clean and clearly well cared for, and we were glad to find a bottle of wine waiting. The beds were comfortable, the couch was amazing, and the fireplace made the place cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed, and having a laundry room was a huge plus. There are so many good things about the Village at North Pointe that we can’t cover them all. We’ll be back!
