The manager, Jake, really stood out. He went out of his way to make sure things were right, and was friendly, professional, and caring. You can tell he takes pride in the place and wants guests to have a good stay. The rooms at SCP Depoe Bay were clean and comfortable, with a coastal feel that helped us relax. From the moment we arrived, the place felt welcoming and well cared for. The peaceful atmosphere and views made the trip special. We’ll definitely return, and I highly recommend SCP Depoe Bay if you want somewhere clean, comfortable, and run by good people.

The hotel is really nice, and the staff are lovely. The bathrooms could use work, though. Ours was a bit stinky and crummy, so we had to buy an air freshener. Smells aside, it’s such a nice hotel!

I’m reconsidering my reservation after trying repeatedly to reach the hotel about changing the card on file. Around 7 PM on a Tuesday, I called the number and tried each menu option: existing bookings, future bookings, and other questions. Every time, I got a full-mailbox message and then the call disconnected. I called about six more times, with the same result. It makes me wonder whether anyone is there or checking those voicemail boxes. I’ve had better service at one-star hotels in third-world countries, and even at zero-star hostels. I may cancel and book somewhere that’s open and more responsive.

The room was fantastic, the bed comfortable, and both the area and the view were great. Staff were amazing too: the front desk let us check in early at no extra charge, and Get Fish and Chips gave us a complimentary drink when we arrived. Such great places. How can you not recommend staying here?

We could walk to food and watch the King Tides, and I’d stay here again. It was our first time at a SCP location. Staff were amazing, and our fireplace room felt warm and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom really clean.
