Oakzanita Springs RV Campground

I’d have liked a site closer to the pool and bathrooms. Ours was beside a loud, rowdy camper and a noisy road, so it wasn’t very peaceful.

The nature, animals, and views here are spectacular, and it’s a birder’s paradise. We love the pool and hot tub, which you’ll likely have to yourselves, and the facilities are wonderful. The staff are always warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. Special thanks to Michelle and Ginger for being such awesome hosts. Love you guys! An annual Thousand Trails camping pass has been one of our best investments, and this park is by far our favorite.

There are cool trails around the property, a pool, and a small clubhouse where you can get internet. Our dog loved all the places to walk, and the staff were really nice and helpful. We have a smaller trailer, so getting into our spot was easy. The location is also not too far from attractions and basics. The Indian casino in Alpine off Highway 8 is beautiful, and Amazon locker pickup is in the same city. The picture is of the sitting area outside the clubhouse.

There’s lots to do here, with great hiking trails, and a great restaurant close by at the junction in descanso. A great campground in the mountains east of San Diego.
