The quieter private beach was a real plus. Since this place is smaller than the hotels around it, it never felt as crowded there. We booked the kids' suite, and my daughter was thrilled with it. We were here for a few days of family beach time, and even though the hotel looks a bit older than some nearby options, I’d still recommend it. The cafe inside was disappointing on our first day, but the sandwich stand outside served really good food.

The motel is operating under a different name right now. The manager said renovations are underway and that it should reopen as "Holiday Inn" in about a year.
