We had a birthday party in the meeting room by the pool, and it’s been my favorite place for one so far. It was nicely laid out, with lots of seating by the pool and a great outdoor area on the south side. That side of the pool room has windows all along it, so you can watch people outside enjoying themselves while staying out of the sun. There’s a bathroom in the pool area and a shower stall beside the steps at the shallow end, handy for rinsing off after swimming. The pool and hot tub were at decent temperatures. It cost $75 plus tax for four hours on a Sunday afternoon. Thanks, Hawthorn!

Our first time staying here, and we had no complaints. The rooms were clean, quiet, roomy, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Getting in and out was easy. We’ll definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

Matthew, the Assistant General Manager, was incredibly accommodating. We’d forgotten to arrange a shuttle for our early flight, but he added us to the list and came back himself to drive us in the morning, even though he’d worked a very late shift the night before. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better. We stayed here at the end of a family trip through South and North Dakota, and next time we’re in the area, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Our room was quiet, clean, and roomy, and the beds were the best, so comfortable! This will be our regular hotel in Dickenson.

Tanya at the front desk made this visit exceptional. We’ve stayed at several places like Hawthorn by Wyndham over the years, and we arrived quite late with our two dogs. Tanya greeted us warmly, made sure we got the king bed we’d requested, and saw that we had what we needed for a late arrival. The manager had put together lovely sewn pouches with candy, water, and treats for guests, and housekeeping had left a thoughtful handwritten note in our room. We’d gladly stay here again whenever we pass through Dickinson. Thanks to all the staff!
