Best Western North Edge Inn

If you need somewhere for a week or longer, this is a good choice, especially with a kitchen, microwave, and a big fridge with freezer in the room. Breakfast is free, there’s laundry on site, and detergent costs $1. Washing is $2 and drying is under $2. The gym is small but works for a full body workout, with food options nearby and Walmart six minutes away. It’s about 30 minutes from Jetmore, Kansas. The place was clean, and the staff were great. Ana was especially helpful and went above and beyond. Wi-Fi was fine in the morning but slowed down during the day. Hope this helps.

I was here for work and woke up expecting a hot shower, but there was no hot water. The phone didn’t work when I tried calling the front desk. An employee said someone had worked on the water heater the day before, which makes me wonder whether anyone checks the work. I should have been offered at least a partial refund, but the front desk attendant didn’t seem to care. Where has job integrity gone in this country?

The room was quiet and comfortable, with a good bed and everything looking new and very clean. Staff were extremely friendly, too.

The service was slow when I asked basic questions, and the prices seemed high for this location. I asked what one night would cost, and after hesitating, they quoted more than the place in Chicago. I’d keep driving toward other, cheaper motels in the eastern part of Kansas.
