Hampton Inn Miami-Airport West was clean, well maintained, and had plenty of parking, so the stay felt easy and stress-free. Jessica at the front desk was especially helpful and knew the area well. Her tips for local restaurants and nearby malls were spot-on and made our visit better. Great customer service makes a difference, and Jessica delivered. Thanks for a great stay, we'd come back.

Travis was warm and sweet when we arrived, offering complimentary bottled water and snacks. We came to Miami for a few nights before boarding our Monday cruise. The main trouble was the advertised airport shuttle. I waited nearly an hour and a half after calling, then another family and I rode together once it finally came. My best friend's flight landed later, so I waited in the lobby near the desk while we spoke by phone as she waited for the shuttle. The driver was extremely rude and drove away without picking her up, though I could see from the lobby that he'd just dropped other guests off and had room to take her. Travis advised her to get an Uber and assured us the hotel would reimburse her, and he did give her a refund when she arrived. The next day I told the manager, Marcus, I think, about what had happened. I wasn't asking for a refund, just wanted him to know. He was very professional and helpful, and gave us two vouchers for the cruise port shuttle, which we appreciated. Thanks especially to Marcus, Travis, Jorge, and the young woman working that weekend. We'll definitely be back.

Breakfast was a key reason I chose this hotel: it advertised weekday service starting at 6 a.m., and when I contacted them beforehand, they assured me early breakfast would be available for my flight. But at 7:30 a.m. it still wasn't ready, with no explanation or update about the delay. For a Hilton brand hotel, that was disappointing and below what I expected.

The breakfast was hot and good, and they let us stay an extra two hours because our flight was later. The room felt comfortable, almost like home, and the hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. There were lots of restaurants nearby, and the Japanese restaurant across the parking lot, Miyako, was DELICIOUS!!!!! We'd love to stay again.
