Quality Inn Miami Airport - Doral

There are much better hotels in the area, so don’t waste your money here. Cheap is not better. The hotel was disgusting, the staff were rude, and the food was horrible. I arrived very late and asked to check out just an hour later than usual. They wanted $100, then when I asked again in the morning, the fee dropped to $50. Usually hotels will give you a free late checkout. The rooms looked redone but were falling apart. There was rust on the lamps, old worn furniture, mold in the tub, dirt on the sheets, a hand nail on the floor, and paint chipping off the walls. The bathroom wasn’t clean either. I wiped it with wipes, and they came away filthy. Breakfast was bad too. The eggs were cold and watery even though they were on a flame. The coffee was gritty and gross, and the waffle batter was so watery the waffle didn’t cook inside. I tried buying coffee from the machine instead and didn’t even get half a cup. When I brought it up at the front desk, the man didn’t care and was very unsympathetic and unapologetic. Neither of the two front desk people I dealt with was kind. Judging by other reviews, it seems management doesn’t care how staff treat guests. If I could give zero stars, I would.

We paid for a shuttle to the port, but when we asked them to confirm it, they said they no longer offered that service. The room was worn and old, with hairs left in the bathroom, floor tiles coming up, and a big burn hole in the bathtub. We also asked for two extra pillows and were told they had none. Seriously, one of the worst places we’ve stayed. Never again.

When we arrived for the two nights we’d booked, they said they couldn’t find our reservation. Then they said they had found it, but it was cancelled and couldn’t be used. We asked if we could pay cash and were told otherwise we could NOT stay. So we paid 245 Dollars in cash. The Guy at the desk was very rude and only seemed interested in getting paid. The Hotel wasn’t very good. When we got home, we checked our Bank account and saw the 245 Dollars HAD BEEN TAKEN out there too, so we’d paid twice 🤔. We contacted our Credit Card Company right away to get the money back. We will NEVER EVER STAY AT THAT HOTEL AGAIN. You have been warned! Yours truly, David Murphy.

I made two reservations in December for two rooms for a February 15 stay. When I arrived at midnight with my 5 kids, the front desk said there was only one reservation and no more rooms. After I showed him both bookings, he claimed one was for 2/19, even though it clearly said 2/15/26. He said he needed to call the manager to change the date and see what they could do, then gave me a key for room 411 as the second room. We went to rooms 404 and 411. There were people in 411, and 404 was the most disgusting room I’d ever seen. The sheets were very dirty and the smell gave me bad chills. The hallway and elevator were filthy and reeked of bad mariguana. I couldn’t stay after that horrible, offensive experience. I left at 1:00 am and had no choice but to pay over $900.
