I was here for two weeks on a work trip, and the service was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The breakfast staff went above and beyond, always making sure I had a to-go box since I left around 5:45 a.m. Everyone from the front desk onward was amazing. The place was clean and professional. Thanks so much for everything while I was in Dothan. Highly recommend!

The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly, and I could walk to everything from this location. It costs a little more than nearby places, but I think it’s worth it since Marriott Bonvoys are always the best. My only gripe is the $75 dog fee, even for a single night. It’s $75 for stays of 1-4 nights, then rises to $150 after 5 days. A lower charge for just one night would be nice.

The room at the end of the second-floor hall was quiet, clean, and smelled freshly cleaned. I didn’t find dust or stray hairs, which I usually do at hotels, and I got the rest I badly needed before another work week. Jennifer at the front desk made me feel welcome and handled check-in wonderfully. The TownePlace Suites is only minutes from a mall and restaurants, close enough to walk if you want. I can’t remember the last time I gave a hotel five stars, but I really enjoyed staying here.

We had a great evening chatting and laughing around the firepit out front with old high school classmates. When the manager learned we wanted to spend a little time together in the lobby, she offered the firepit area and set out chairs and tables, turned it on, and even brought milk for our cookies. The service was way beyond what I’d expect at an average hotel. The whole place looks new and fresh and smells amazing. The charger by the front door didn’t work, but staff pointed me to the ones behind the building. Later, that rear charger stopped working too, and staff quickly reset it by flipping the breaker. The manager was also very friendly when she saw me struggling with the first charger, stopping to say hello and help.
