The Silver Fountain Inn

The room was elegant and cozy, and the included breakfast tasted like my mother's cooking. We also had the darling afternoon tea service. When we arrived, Gail showed us around and took great care of us, even upgrading our room since there were only a few guests that night. My boyfriend and I can't wait to return. The holiday decorations are beautiful, so I'd recommend visiting then. Thanks to Gail, Geri, and the rest of the team for looking after us!

The staff are what made our stay memorable. Everyone we met was kind, knew the surrounding area well, and brought real warmth to the place. My wife and I had a grand time. The building and rooms have old charm, our room was comfy, and the bed was better than most. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection, and there was always a fantastic range of quality teas to sample. We went home with several big bags of tea and lots of good memories.

The little details made this stay special. Our room had everything we needed, even bathrobes and a bedside jewelry holder, and we could help ourselves to coffee and tea throughout. We enjoyed cookies in the sitting room and board games for a relaxed night in. My husband and I travel constantly, but we haven't found this kind of warmth and hospitality elsewhere. Gail and Kim were sweet, informative, and clearly passionate about their work. We stayed in The Boudoir, the original family's music room, with its original crown molding, silk wall patterns, and delicate details. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we got the best eight hours of sleep we've had in ages. Lunch in the tea parlor, with maybe the best scones I've ever had, and breakfast the next morning were both quiet, intimate, and delicious. I can't wait to return, and highly recommend a stay at Silver Fountain Inn & Tea Parlor.

We had to leave early the next morning, but the staff made sure I didn't go empty handed and gave me two of their world-famous scones. They're unbelievably good. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Silver Fountain Inn, one of my best in years. I called ahead with questions and got answers, and when my wife arrived, someone was ready to show her around. The Marguerite was one of the smaller rooms, but the comfortable queen bed easily slept both of us. It was exceptionally clean, check-in was easy, and although the parlor stayed lively late, the noise didn't reach the upstairs rooms. The Victorian house is beautiful inside and out, with floors, walls, and trim in fantastic shape for its age. Its interior reminded me of my grandparents' Victorian home, and walking in felt like stepping into the Gilded Age. We'll be back for a Murder Mystery night soon, and recommend joining us.
