EDITED: The GM resolved the issue. Priceline had no communication from the hotel, as they confirmed. My faith in humanity has been restored. Thank you! I originally booked a room in haste on Priceline for a funeral in the area, but realized on arrival that I'd reserved it for the following day. I explained to the night clerk and asked to change the dates. He said he didn't have authority, even though a room of the same type was available. It was close to midnight after a 10-hour drive, so exhausted, we paid for the room anyway. The next morning the manager assured me they'd reimburse the unused day once Priceline contacted them. But Priceline emailed to say the hotel denied the request. I had admitted my mistake, and it was sad that the hotel couldn't find a way to be understanding when we were traveling for a sad event. It seemed I'd paid $400 for one night. I wondered if Southern Hospitality was gone.

My room was right beside the ice machine, which gets very noisy when it's running, but I never heard a thing. It was so quiet and comfortable, and always smelled amazing. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. Loved staying here and will definitely come back.

Tyler at the front desk made my stay. He was welcoming and warm from the start, gave helpful recommendations, and made check-in easy. His service felt both genuine and professional, and he went out of his way to make sure things were right. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I had a wonderful stay and will return on my next trip. Highly recommend.
