Redstone Inn And Suites

The innkeeper Robert was so hospitable and lovely to talk with. This beautiful historic mansion is in a very walkable area, with gorgeous furniture and decor. Our room was clean and comfy. Loved staying here.

The place is very well maintained, though there were some funky odors from stray cats outside. The fireplaces can't be used because of insurance, so Amish heaters sit in front of them instead. The whirlpool hot tub with its dimmer switch more than makes up for that. Robert was a good innkeeper, made us a neat AI video, and shared his life perspectives and expectations. If you're late for breakfast, you'll get a wake-up call.

At breakfast the next morning, Robert showed us a minute-long AI video he'd made from photos he had us take in the living room. He'd carried our bags to the room and said the pictures would be a surprise later. It was the craziest B&B experience of my life. The video was so strange, but not in a bad way. I can't take points off for it because it's so funny, and we still talk about it. Robert himself was very nice.

We couldn't stay in the room. It smelled horrible, the carpet was stained and dirty, the blanket was ripped, and the curtains had stains. Blue painter's tape held down the wallpaper seams, and there was a handwritten note stapled to the bathroom wall asking guests not to stain the towels. There were cameras and air cleaners everywhere. It looks like it may once have been a really nice place, and there was also a note on the door saying for sale by owner.
