Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cleveland-Streetsboro by IHG

The parking lot streetlights weren't working, which made us uncomfortable arriving after dark and parking around the side. Hopefully they'll get them fixed soon. The fitness center hasn't been renovated yet and is only adequate for a quick workout, though I understand it and the pool area are next on the renovation list. We'll stay again on our return drive across the country. A year or so ago, bad reviews kept me away, but after a major renovation we decided to try it. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable, and everything was done well, just as you'd expect from this chain. The staff were friendly and helpful. Pamela was handling breakfast and deserves a special mention. She helped us with the misbehaving pancake machine and kept her good humor when a high school sports team of about 15 teenage boys descended on the buffet at the last minute and ate like teenage boys.

The convenient location made getting to the highway, nearby restaurants, and local attractions easy. Breakfast was complimentary, fresh, and well organized, with a nice range of choices. The staff were friendly and professional, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. We had a relaxing stay at Holiday Inn Express in Streetsboro, Ohio. The rooms were spacious and spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the quiet atmosphere helped us sleep well. The hotel was clean and well maintained throughout, making it a comfortable option for business or family travel. It delivered the dependable quality and service you expect from Holiday Inn Express. We'd happily stay here again.

The elevator is extremely small, and it makes noises when running that sound really unsafe. We also found signs that our room hadn't been cleaned properly before check-in: chip crumbs on the chair and soap scum around the shower drain.

The beds and pillows were quite soft, and the shower was really nice. Our room was a good size with a sitting area, and the fridge was a little bigger than most.
