Days Inn & Suites Dundee

The place looked clean at first, but our room still had its garbage in it. The people next door were partying, which kept me awake. That's unusual for me at a motel. I know the place isn't busy, but we ended up beside the party people. That's okay, though. I got seven hours, and I can play my sermons at 4 AM. I don't mind. We'll see if the neighbors enjoy hearing the Word of God then. Trust me, it'll be okay!!

The price was reasonable, but the cleanliness was questionable. The linens were worn and stained, the pillows were old, and the mattress cover needs replacing. The bathroom hasn't been maintained well, and the seals were broken.

Saturday, October 18, 2025 - My daughter and I ended up booking here in a rush after the hotel we were meant to stay at called to say they were overbooked and didn't actually have a room for me. The property looked run-down and felt unsafe as soon as we arrived. I checked the cancellation policy from the car and figured a refund probably wasn't happening, so we went in to take a look. We never brought our bags inside. The lobby had an odd smell, though it wasn't completely unpleasant. Upstairs, the room looked unclean: the blankets seemed to have been hastily straightened after the last guests slept in the beds. The main room light didn't work, and there was another funky smell. When I turned on the bathroom light, sewer flies flew out of the sink. The floors creaked everywhere, even on the main level, and it made me uneasy, like the floor might give way, though I know that's unlikely. We left. I returned the key to the nice kid at the desk, the only nice thing I can say about the place, and explained why we weren't staying. He said he'd talk to his manager, but I know I won't get a refund. Don't book here!

My husband was exhausted, so we stayed, but I wanted to leave so badly. This was the worst hotel I've ever been in. The furniture looked like it had come from ten different curbs, and there was a filthy 16" hole in the carpet. The bathtub was nasty, too. No tissues, and I had to call for toilet paper. The remote was dead, the TV was awful, and the shower looked like a plastic add-on from the 70's. Customer service didn't know anything. Shut this hell hole DOWN!!!!
