The renovated rooms are very nice, and Akila has been amazing, so kind, patient, and warm. I’m enjoying my room so far. The one problem is the outlets: getting a plug in takes a lot of force, and most of them won’t budge. It seems like a guest could eventually hurt their wrist or fingers just trying to charge a laptop. Maintenance should go around and loosen them up.

The airport location is convenient, but I travel to Greensboro regularly and will be looking for a different hotel next time. The rooms are dated and clearly need a refresh. Breakfast was especially frustrating for a work stay: there’s no buffet, and the staff weren’t very responsive when I expected things to be quick and efficient.

The room was very clean, though you can tell it’s starting to show its age. My stay went smoothly, I slept well, and the staff were great. I appreciated being able to order breakfast. The dining and lounge area got busy and lively in the evenings.

The little extras from the staff make a stay here more enjoyable. They pop popcorn, bake cookies, put out other snacks, and set up hot chocolate in winter. Special shout out to Solomon. I actually get excited walking up to check in when I see him at the desk. They’re updating the rooms now, and I like the new look. Cheers, HGI Greensboro!

Elisha served our group tonight, and we had a wonderful time. She was kind and approachable, and kept a smile on her face. The food, service, and drinks were all perfect!
