The room was dirty, smelled bad, and had broken drawers and missing light bulbs. There were dead and live bugs around, and a woman experiencing homelessness bothered me in the lobby. The next morning someone gave a loud knock like a police officer. This place should be shut down.

After driving from Florida for two straight days, the free valet and lush surroundings made a nice first impression. The valet said he was taking my car to top off the fuel, and then the onsite doctor greeted me with a wide range of pharmaceuticals for sale. Convenient, since I was tired. He said they were called “Erks” or dirty 30s, I think, and after his headache medicine I felt great. Tyrone said he'd take good care of me. He also mentioned TESLA's, called my two boys little people, and gave them some candy with little monkeys on it. What a North Carolina treasure. I didn't see the onsite restaurant, though a previous guest mentioned an all-you-can-eat crab buffet, or all the crabs you want for one price.

I called on October 8, 2025 at 12:02 pm for help with a booking. The person who answered was rude, talked over me, and wouldn't let me ask questions or help confirm the booking. He raised his voice and wouldn't give me his name so I could refer to him when speaking with the Manager. From his accent, I thought he might be of Indian descent. I would not book here.

Tab is the best. The rooms are roomy and clean, and the nightly and weekly rates seem fair. It's peaceful here, with no drama.
