The owners are very nice, but the rest of the stay was rough. The toilets clogged and flooded more than three times in two days, there were bugs in the bathroom, and the TV only had four channels. At 8am, people came yelling and banging on our door. The owner showed up, and they drove off in a hurry.

The family running the hotel was nice and flexible about meeting my needs. It's conveniently located, with good places to eat nearby, and the rooms were good for the price. I had a great experience and would suggest staying here.

The owners were nice enough to refund our reservation, but we didn't think this looked like a safe place for a family. It's in a bad part of town, with a chain-link fence topped with barbed wire around the property.

For $50, the room was a great deal, though I wondered if it was too good to be true after the Comfort Suites in Oxford, NC. The king room had a table for two, a TV, mini fridge, and microwave, and smoking rooms are available. Everything was clean and looked recently painted. The water worked well, and the roomy parking lot had enough space for every room. I heard no sirens, and although it was Friday with a neighborhood behind the motel, it was very quiet in this low-key area. The TV had about 10-20 channels, including my48, news, espn, bet, and abc. From the 16st st exit on Route 29, turn right immediately into the place. I had a blast.

The heat didn't work, and when I tried to complain, the manager wouldn't even answer the phone. I heard five gunshots right outside my room, but the office wouldn't call the police. People were selling drugs in plain sight, and prostitutes tried to solicit me. This place should be shut down. Please never rent a room here.
