La Bastide Bed & Breakfast

We appreciated the early check-in text, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, too. We were only there one night, but the thoughtful touches made it feel comfortable and homey: clean rooms, comfy beds, two luggage racks, a shared fridge and microwave, magazines, chocolates and water in the room, plus coffee, tea, and water available all day. We’d definitely stay again.

The location made it easy to reach plenty of wineries and local restaurants without driving far. The room was cute, clean, and had all the essentials, and we really enjoyed the breakfasts. Mark and Elizabeth were great hosts. We could text or email with questions before arrival or during our stay, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. It was also simple to choose breakfast for the next day through google forms.

We were in town for work and got moved from the Petite Paris room to the Lorraine suite. My girlfriend loved the fireplace, and the view was phenomenal. We had to leave early, so getting breakfast sandwiches to go before regular breakfast service began was a real treat. One small warning: the late-night pastry prep for the next morning might leave you craving cookies. Mark & Elizabeth have a gorgeous B&B, and we had an amazing time. We’ll be back!

We’ve stayed at LaBastide twice now, and it’s where we’ll stay on future visits. Mark and Elizabeth are wonderfully accommodating, and the rooms are so comfortable. The bedding and pillows are the best. Breakfast each morning is worthy of five stars. Cold drinks and water are in the fridge, while coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available around the clock. There are wine glasses if you bring home a bottle, or wines to buy, and a lovely back patio for enjoying the weather.
