Fairfield Inn & Suites Dunn I-95

Great hotel! The grounds are nicely kept, and the lobby feels clean and inviting. Our room was comfortable and very clean, and the bed was perfect. John, who was on duty the evening we arrived, was a gracious host and a consummate professional. The breakfast hostess was friendly and helpful too. I'd choose this place over other hotels a few exits away on the interstate, and would stay here again.

We arrived late and couldn't switch hotels, so I'm still here at 5 a.m. waiting for my husband to wake up so we can leave. I won't shower here, and I won't stay again. The staff were very nice, but I don't understand the high ratings or trust hotel scores the same way now. The room looks dirty and neglected, with poor lighting and visible rust. It also smells strongly of mildew, especially in the bathroom. I'm used to a hotel room at least smelling clean or having an air freshener, but there didn't seem to be any effort to deal with the odor. Other guests mention the same smell in their reviews.

We stopped for a night to take a break from I-95. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were kind and very friendly. Breakfast had good choices for a quick bite before getting back on the road, and it was kept up well. Shower pressure was weak, but otherwise I was very happy with the stay.

A clean, well-kept property near several restaurants and I-95 in Dunn, NC. The staff are welcoming and friendly, rooms are basic, and breakfast is free. The pool and fitness center are nice to have, though both are small. Nothing fancy, just a solid value hotel.
