Americas Best Value Inn Dunnigan

By morning, my wife and I seemed to be the only people on the property. There were no guests or staff, and even walking around the parking lot didn't turn up anyone else. The front desk person had been pleasant, at least. The room itself was comically bad: it stank, the heater barely worked, and there was grime everywhere. A dried-up hot sauce packet was stuck to the bedside lamp, and the cabinet for the tube TV was badly damaged, like someone had hit it with a bat. We checked in during December 2024 thinking, “How bad could it be?” This roadside motel was bizarre and unclean, and should be avoided unless that kind of experience is your thing.

I was pleased with my stay, and honestly surprised by how quickly staff and management dealt with an issue. They showed they care about the service and are willing to fix mistakes. Great staff, and they handled the situation fast.

The TV barely had any channels, and there were cockroaches in the room. The place could use better maintenance, a hot tub, and a hot breakfast. The room was comfortable, though, and the shower got hot.

The rooms were super clean, and the manager and front desk staff were really nice. It’s very affordable, and they have breakfast. Highly recommend!
