Travelers Inn

Great location. Check-in went smoothly, and the room was clean.

We needed somewhere at the last minute during a snowstorm a few weeks ago. Trying to book through the travelers inn website caused technical issues, and somehow two rooms got booked. We couldn't get anywhere by phone, so we went in to check in and explain that we only needed one. The man at the front desk, who I assume was the owner, was extremely rude and refused to cancel the extra room. He was unprofessional, so we left and won't go back. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Years ago, we stayed here without problems. It wasn't very nice, but we only needed a bed, so it was just okay. Later we recommended it to a family member because it was low cost. Big mistake. When we came by to see them and discuss dinner plans, while we were staying somewhere else, the owner came to their door and told us to leave because visitors weren't allowed. He was aggressive and rude, and charged our family member extra money because we had stopped by. The owner stalked our family member. I would never recommend this place again.

At check-in, the man working was sarcastic, nosy, and patronizing. He even explained how to put a key in the door. I believe he treated me badly because I'd booked on booking.com and he knew the booking was nonrefundable, so I felt stuck putting up with his arrogant, condescending, inappropriate behavior. He asked who the person with me was and why we were staying there. Those aren't acceptable questions when most people get a room for privacy. If I hadn't paid 175 dollars, I would've gone somewhere else. I'm so unhappy with this place and will never return.
