GreenTree Extended Stay Eagle/Vail Valley

Perfect for our last-minute stay. The front desk service was great, and the staff, especially Veronica and John, were super cool. Clean room with a full kitchen.

The receptionist was nice and gave us a refund, but the room reeked of chemicals and the bathroom ventilation was terrible. AirB&B was partly to blame for listing the room details incorrectly.

The third room had decent carpet, but the shower had no hot water. Before that, the first room Green Tree gave me smelled like dog urine and carpet shampoo. I complained and they moved me, but the second room's window was wide open and the carpet was soaked. I brought the hot water problem to the manager, who offered a discount that never came through. They kept making excuses, saying they couldn't handle it quickly because I booked through Expedia. I told them I had paid them directly. They avoid talking to you, ignore you, or don't call back. It's been a week and I've called five times.

The room was clean but very basic, and its location right off the highway and near town was convenient. The staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be. Still, the strong cleaning product smell meant we had to leave the window open for a while. There wasn't a rollaway bed for my 5yr old, or coffee at. Relegate, juice, or cups. The kitchenette had almost no silverware or dishes and no cooking supplies. We only had two towels, and the sheer thread count was pretty low. My friends said it was noisy all night.
