The listing isn't accurate, and the place felt dirty and dated. The fitness center was closed, the pools looked greenish and overly chlorinated, and there was hardly any food out for breakfast. The elevator seemed like it might break down any minute. I found lots of little stains on the bed linens and towels, so it didn't feel clean or relaxing. Avoid it at all costs.

The room was spacious, very clean, and well kept, and breakfast was standard but good. We’d booked the wrong dates, but the manager kindly helped cancel that booking and got us a room for the same price that weekend. The location on a hill was nice too, about 30 mins from either Vail or Glenwood Springs.

I was too exhausted after the memorial and getting in around 11:30ish to ask for another room. I’d booked through expedia, and figured sorting out a refund would be a nightmare. The bed was so uncomfortable I felt I’d have been better off sleeping in my car. I was there for a memorial in Vail, and this spot was a little out of the way but closer to my budget. The man at the desk was short with me, though I assumed he was tired. The room smelled, and it looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned. The bed seemed slept in and then hastily remade. The supposedly clean towels were dingy and dirty, the hair dryer was broken, and there was old toothpaste splattered over the sink and mirror. In the morning, I saw that the ground-level window had been left unlocked and had no screen. There were dead bugs on the sill. I would never stay here again. I’ve been in some really cheap, terrible motels, and this was worse than any of them.

Whenever we come to Colorado, this is our go-to spot. The staff are so kind, generous, and accommodating. I appreciate them and the place a lot, and can’t wait to come back.
