Update: their response to my review was laughable. We stayed only a few days before they replied, and our pictures and video show the third week of April, on the 20th. We had no trouble at checkout because we left before we needed to. We follow hotel policies, so if Rodeway had an issue with a guest and its policies, that must have been another unhappy guest, not us. The pictures and videos speak for themselves. Rodeway Inn clearly thinks the room was up to par and housekeeping did its job, but we and many other guests may see it differently. Look at the pictures and make up your own mind. Bugs came out of the jacuzzi jets when we turned it on, so there was no way we were using it. I review all kinds of places, good, bad, and ugly, and don’t sugarcoat my experiences. I share them so future guests know what they might encounter. This was ours, and yours may be different. The room was outdated and in a corner. The walls, bathroom, and ceiling were dirty, and I don’t think the housekeeper took time to clean properly. The fridge and freezer were caked in ice and a strange yellowish substance, with an ice cream sandwich at the back that could’ve been there who knows how long. The beds looked clean, but the floors needed scrubbing. Dead bugs and live spiders shot out of the jacuzzi jets, and who knows when the tub was last scrubbed properly. Shampoo bottles were half empty. The coffee pot and cups were in the bathroom, which was gross. We didn’t shower, use the fridge, or use the microwave, and we weren’t comfortable there. Long black hairs were everywhere, even though I’m blonde and my boyfriend is bald. The beds were very uncomfortable, too. There was also someone next door with his door open, which felt creepy. A McDonald's, Huddle House, and gas station were nearby. My boyfriend says you get what you pay for, but I’m pretty sure we paid more than that room was worth.

The locked lobby and staff behind glass made the place feel unsafe, even though I’d checked the town’s crime rate before booking. We checked in late and left before 9:30am. The fridge had black hair, an ice cream sandwich, and ice buildup, and the toilet had stains. I’d booked for the whirlpool, but spiders and flakes of something shot out every time I turned it on, so I didn’t want to get in. I’m sure their response will make it sound like a great, clean, safe, up-to-date hotel, but it really isn’t. If I’d known, I wouldn’t have stayed and would’ve found somewhere else. I hope this helps someone choose better than I did. The pictures show how the rooms are cleaned.

The quiet, open surroundings gave the stay a peaceful, almost spiritual feel. It was easy to relax, breathe deeply, and feel at ease there. There’s a lovely mix of nature, silence, and space, making it a refreshing break from stress or a chance to find some peace. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed to rest. The staff were warm, polite, and helpful throughout. Whether you’re there for work or to unwind, Rodeway Inn & Suites in East Dublin offers comfort along with that sense of stillness. I strongly recommend it to anyone visiting East Dublin. A hidden gem with a soothing atmosphere. 🙏✨

I had the basics I needed, and the room was clean when I arrived. The bed was comfortable enough, the AC worked great, and having a microwave and mini-fridge was handy. WiFi connected without a fuss, and the TV picture was good, which made relaxing in the room nice. It’s a simple budget stay, and the Rodeway experience is pretty much you get what you pay for.

There were insects all over the room, and the bed sheets and pillows had clearly been used and weren’t clean. The whole place was in poor condition. One towel rack was rusted and the other was loose, the tub was badly stained, and there was hair in the sink and all over the sheets. I refused to sleep in that disgusting bed, so I stayed fully dressed and slept sitting up on the couch.
