The Hedges Inn

We’ve just wrapped up a weekend here, and the historic appeal that first brought my partner and me was only part of it. The place is beautifully preserved, peaceful, homey, and comfortable, with kind, attentive staff and a real focus on guests. The rooms are cozy, and there are towels and beach supplies, beach passes, board games, bikes, books, and more. The grounds give you plenty of room to relax and enjoy yourself. Breakfast is included and fantastic. The specials change every day, and they’re always delicious and filling. After 4pm, the patio becomes a restaurant and bar, and the kitchen is just as good. The servers were fantastic too. The seafood tower and wine tasting are must-haves. If you want an inn experience that feels more comfortable and personal than a hotel, this is the place. We can’t recommend it enough. Thanks for having us.

Jenny made the stay feel special, greeting me warmly, showing me the restaurant and bar, and carrying my bags upstairs. Even booking by phone and checking in were smooth and professional. Everything at the hedges inn was such a treat. I can’t wait to come back!

The grounds are lovely, with flowers and a nice wine bar, and guests can borrow bicycles, beach chairs, and umbrellas, plus use a beach parking pass. Breakfast feels classy. This is a beautifully kept historic property in the heart of Eastampton Village, managed very well. It’s a great option for a stay in East Hampton, and seems like it could host a lovely small wedding.

Breakfast was amazing, and Jenny has a way of making everyone feel at home. The bed and pillows were just right, and the place was immaculately clean. I loved this quiet little oasis, especially the garden hammock and the rocking chairs on the front porch. What a gem in the Hamptons. I can’t wait to return.
