Days Inn By Wyndham Syracuse

We had a great stay at the Daysinn, and breakfast was good. The housekeepers were nice, too. Alisea at the front desk deserves a big thank you: she worked hard, was caring and welcoming, and made us feel at home. We didn’t get the chance to tell her ourselves, but whoever hired her made a great choice.

We like staying at Daysinn hotels, but this was an awful check-in. We arrived late on Friday night, February 13, and the night auditor was chewing gum, looking at his phone, and being rude. He put us on the second floor, and the room was okay. When we asked questions, he seemed inexperienced. We’ll be back in Syracuse in March.

We’ve stayed here several times while traveling, but this visit fell short. The first room was unclean and its curtains wouldn’t close. The second room, on the fourth floor, was better, but the TV didn’t work. A technician spent more than half an hour trying without success, so we had no TV that night. After two days of travel, we expect the usual comforts, and the $10 credit at checkout felt inadequate for losing an important amenity.

We needed a room at the last minute for one night, and Alissa at reception made getting settled easy. She was friendly, welcoming, and really helpful. Great service! 👍
