Baymont Inn & Suites East Windsor Bradley Airport (ex. Holiday Inn Express East Windsor)

For a last-minute, inexpensive room, it was about what I expected. Late checkout at 11 a.m. is included, which was a plus. The room could've been much cleaner: there was dirt built up by the tub and mold in the shower, though the water pressure was very strong. The bed squeaked loudly whenever I moved or got in and out, and the thin walls let me hear nearby conversations as if they were in our room. I'm not sure I'd come back.

Room 113 had a king bed, and the good parts were solid water pressure and being only 12 minutes from the airport. But at 1 a.m. I found the window open, and it wouldn't shut or lock. The bathroom paint was peeling, and the room only had one office chair and a table.

The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was hot with strong pressure. The toilet worked as it should. Beyond that, the room had little to offer. There was no table or seating where two people could eat, just a king bed and not even a couple of chairs. We arrived around 10:45 p.m., and the front desk woman didn't welcome us or help us find the room, only saying it was around the back. Inside, the sheets were put on inside out, there was hair in the shower, just four Kleenex in the box, and the hair dryer was broken. At 3 a.m. Sunday, we were woken by a fire drill. The doors throughout the building, including the room and stairwell doors inside and out, slammed shut. Some door bumpers would help. The windows were also very hard to open, and once open there was no screen or safety barrier, even though they opened all the way. We hope things improve before we return, if we do. We'd ask about it before booking again.

The room smelled musty and dirty, and I felt concerned about safety. The bed springs made noise, while people talked and banged doors through the night. In the morning, housekeeping Lee knocked on our door and others nearby, which was really disruptive when we were trying to sleep. It was the worst hotel stay I've had, and I won't be back. I would avoid booking here. It also appeared to be housing homeless people or being used as a shelter.
