The location was good, but the hotel felt a bit worn. The door hardware was squeaky and tired, and although our room had a king bed, its bathroom was so small that two people couldn’t fit in there together.

We pulled together a company strategy meeting at Tidewater at the last minute, and the whole event went brilliantly. Lauren, Brandy, Sara, Jennifer, and everyone else involved gave us outstanding service and went above and beyond. The attendees loved the rooms, food, meeting space, and service. They left refreshed and ready to get to work. Tidewater is a great place for a corporate event, and we’ll definitely hold another overnight meeting there. Huge thanks to the whole team.

The Easter brunch buffet was unreal, with everything from soup to nuts, including prime rib and shrimp. Our family had a lovely time, and the staff were kind.

We visited several venues around Easton and St. Michaels, but as soon as we entered the Tidewater Inn, we knew we’d found our wedding spot. Its historic character, elegant feel, and warm welcome suited us as a couple and gave us a beautiful place to say “I do.” We married in fall, which was just right for a celebration on the Eastern Shore. The town was full of autumn color, and the Tidewater had a warm, golden glow that made everything feel timeless. Guests traveled from near and far, and several said Easton felt like a place from Gilmore Girls. The venue is gorgeous, but the staff made the wedding memorable. Everyone we and our guests met was kind, attentive, and happy to help. After the weekend, my mom texted that Tidewater had made her a guest for life. As both a bride and a corporate event planner, I know how many details a wedding involves. Melanie and her team kept the planning seamless. She was organized, responsive, flexible, especially when we moved the date from June to October, and calm under pressure. The Tidewater staff and our vendors worked together naturally, knew one another, and showed respect for each other. The day ran like clockwork. From arrival through the moment we left as a married couple, we felt well looked after at the Tidewater Inn. If you want an elegant wedding with real Eastern Shore charm, this is a lovely place to begin married life. The food was delicious, and so was Hunters Tavern. We’re lucky to live nearby and be able to come back for a meal.

I stopped in for dinner and really enjoyed it. The food was plentiful and very tasty, and there’s a special deal before 5:30.
