Budget Inn

This is a clean older motel that works well for truckers. Getting in and out was easy with my 18 wheeler. I drive nights and needed to check in during the morning so I could sleep in the day, and the kind staff accommodated me completely. The bed was comfortable, and the bright white sheets and towels were stain-free and SUPER SOFT. I’d love to know how they do that. There’s a mini fridge and microwave. The room door has a pretty big gap at the bottom and could use a flange, and the shower’s non-slip pad needs cleaning or replacing. I’ll definitely stay again and recommend it to other professional drivers. If you want a fancy place at a budget price, keep looking. This is a no-frills, clean spot for working folks who need somewhere to lay their head.

This motel is bullshit. My out-of-town family paid 400+ for x amount of days, and on their second stay they came back to find multiple roaches, other insects, and rodents in their room. They were denied a refund because they had booked online, and were even told they couldn’t leave early. That shouldn’t matter. This place absolutely DOES NOT CARE, PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

If you just need somewhere to sleep and wash up, or you’re on a budget, this may suit you. I’ve stayed here a few times and it has always felt safe. Outdoor lights stay on at night, and there’s a restaurant within walking distance. The housekeeping crew is welcoming and great about helping however they can. The owner isn’t intrusive, and he and his wife walk along the parking lot in the evenings for exercise, which feels a bit like extra security. It’s an older, simple economy hotel, so don’t come expecting amenities. The rooms have an antique look and feel, with a mini fridge, microwave, and basic cable TV. There’s morning coffee, but you need to call the office before heading out. If you call 10 minutes ahead, the owner will have it ready.

At first I worried when I walked in because the room smelled strongly of smoke and the floor was a little dusty. But the microwave worked great, the mini fridge was good, the large AC unit blew ice cold, and the shower head worked perfectly. For 53.25, it was totally worth it.
