Hampton Inn El Centro

I was there for just one night, but the welcome from the staff stood out. Mariah at the front desk was especially helpful, kind, and professional, and made check-in easy and comfortable. I'd recommend the hotel and would stay again.

We had to stop in El Centro unexpectedly because of car trouble, and Adelina at the front desk helped us book a room. We arrived very early, so she checked with the staff about cleaning it ahead of time to let us in. We were stressed, and she helped us feel better by recommending restaurants and things to do while we worked out what to do next. The maintenance man even lent my husband a tool for the car, so we got back on the road the next day. Everyone on staff was very nice, and it made a real difference to our day.

After a long drive, not being able to make door keys was a huge hassle because we kept needing someone to let us into the room. They did try to fix it, but the staff didn't seem to care much and said, “it's not our fault.” So whose fault was it, mine?

I've stayed at the Inn over the past few years when visiting El Centro. The rooms are modern and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple but gives you enough to start the day. It's right off I-8, and the price is usually right too.
