We enjoyed the stay overall, and the staff were friendly and willing to help. But we had a few surprises. As Hilton Gold members, we’re usually able to check in early, yet when we arrived around 2:00 PM we were told it would cost $45. Daily housekeeping also needs to be requested, which would’ve been useful to know in advance. Hilton properties can do things differently, so it sometimes feels like a guessing game. After a long day, our room hadn’t been refreshed. We called for clean towels and more coffee. There was mixed information about creamer too: the front desk said it would be in the room, but it wasn’t. Housekeeping told us it’s usually kept in the lobby instead. Communication between departments could be better, though the housekeeper kindly went out of their way to bring some up to us.

Pamela from the kitchen spoke with me every day and kept things running smoothly. The housekeeping team was accommodating and kept my room immaculate, and everyone at the front desk was kind and helpful. This is easily one of the best Hilton properties I’ve stayed at. I’m not sure how to describe it, but the hotel has set a new standard for me.

Vanessa, the general manager, has created a friendly but professional feel here. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome and appreciated. I also noticed the little touches that made my business trip feel a bit like home. I can’t see myself choosing another hotel in the Imperial Valley area.

I travel most of the year and stick with Hilton hotels, and this one earns five out of five from me. The rooms are very clean, and you can walk to shopping and restaurants. I liked the location, pool, entrance, seating, rooms, and parking. The customer service was great too, especially Vanessa, the General Manager. She’s polite, attentive to the details, speaks so well, and really seems like someone who gets things done!
