TownePlace Suites El Paso East/I-10

The beds were soft and comfortable, though the pillows were much too soft for me. Breakfast was warm and had bacon, eggs, and fancy quiche, plus juice and coffee. The workout room was above average, with plenty of cardio machines and free weights, and the pool was clean and a good size. Since we stayed over Christmas, there was no housekeeping. The front desk staff were 100% friendly and helpful. I’d stay again, despite the odd location. We come back to 915 around Christmas and have stayed here before. This time we brought the family cat, Sylvester, who purred along for the trip. It seemed we had an animal-friendly room, since Cujo was staying next to us. The hotel is beside the I-10 frontage road, so follow the GPS directions. Parking is limited, and the hotel sits by an abandoned bank that’s being renovated or demolished. Inside, the kitchen is on the right as you enter, with the main room and two beds beyond it. The TV is awkwardly mounted beside the restroom. There were two small soap bars at the sink and bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I still don’t understand the shower design: half the glass barrier is open, letting cold air in and water spill out, and the knobs are at the opposite end from the shower head.

The breakfast here really delighted me, which doesn’t happen often. It runs 7-10am, a sensible schedule, and the food was hot from the oven with a great range of choices. Thanks to the kitchen manager for serving real food, keep it up. It’s a comfortable spot for the whole family, and I recommend it. We’ll definitely be back.

I got in late at night and Joshua at the front desk was there to help. He was friendly and made things easy. The room was clean and had everything I needed. A really nice stay and great service.
