The studio was handy for getting around, with plenty of places within driving distance and a little kitchen. We also appreciated being let into our room a couple of hours before check-in, and the price seemed reasonable compared with nearby options. The place was safe enough for a budget stay, but its condition didn't match the online photos. There were stains on the furniture, hooks coming loose from the walls, a strange smell, and the towels could use replacing. It needs a proper deep clean. We were there for a long weekend in March.

The owner's emails made getting settled really simple, and the service was quick and easy to follow. We were also glad to have a comfortable bed and a small kitchen, and the bathroom, while not new, was perfectly fine. The room felt cozy and had what we needed. The Cottage worked well for our three days in Miami, even though it wasn't ideally placed for seeing lots of sights. A car would make getting around easier, and there's parking, but we did most of our exploring by bus. Having a stop right in front made that convenient. We hadn't expected much, but ended up really pleased with the stay and would come back. Hope this helps someone.

I booked a room on Oct 20,2024 under Brittany Holden and paid by credit card, then cancelled less than two hours later. I never went to the property or used the room. The booking number was 4849639783. I was told cancellations made within five days would be refunded, but I still haven't received anything. I didn't see a no-refund condition when booking. Having to pay the full price for a room I never used seems very dishonest.

The room itself and the customer service both need a lot of work, though the location was fairly okay. The bathroom had a strong mildew odor that took about two days to fade. Its sink was coming loose and sat at an awkward angle, and the rusty grab bars were in bad shape. The toilet seat was broken and crooked, shifting sideways whenever it was used. The stove was badly rusted too, as the photo shows. The door-opening instructions left out steps, and sometimes the manager forgot to send them. I had to chase him down, and he didn't like phone calls, preferring messages.
