Hometown Inn & Suites

We booked a room with a jacuzzi tub and got a walk-in shower instead. The beds were as hard as the floor, definitely the worst I've slept on in a while. If your company puts you up here, look for a new job. They hate you.

Don't count on the amenities. The ice machines were all out of order, and the hot tub was broken too, which was disappointing when I arrived with a new back injury. The pool was dirty, the bathroom fan didn't work, and the included WiFi was so slow it was almost impossible to stream. Breakfast was barely attended, and I had to ask the desk several times to restock items. Your room might be fine, but beyond that, the facilities aren't reliable.

Only book here if you really need to, otherwise go somewhere else. At least the beds were clean. The toilet had sticky gunk I couldn't remove, the TV didn't work, and the room lacked the clean, sterile smell you usually get in a hotel, despite a bathroom notice saying they use medical-grade products on high-touch areas. Wrapped soap was stocked, but the shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. There was a lotion bottle, though I didn't check whether it was full because I don't like the texture. Our smoke detector had a bag over it, and given how the room was laid out, it seems someone who works here must have put it there. The area felt shady, which I wouldn't mind as much if there were security cameras. There were none except one poorly placed camera near the front, so authorities probably wouldn't have footage if something happened to you or your property.

I can't understand how this place has a rating over four stars. The room was filthy and only partly made up. There was no coffee, and the coffee maker was dirty. The only ice machine had clearly been out of order for a while, and the makeshift quart-size maker at the front was empty. The TV was tiny and old, with just a few fuzzy channels, and you couldn't see it from the sofa. This place should be shut down or replaced.
