Belvedere Motel

I’ve been here two months, and I use a wheelchair. From my first day, I’ve asked for an accessible room and have fallen several times. I ask every week, but I’m either ignored or told to wait until one opens up. There aren’t many people here, and I haven’t seen anyone else using a wheelchair. The staff act nice to your face, but it feels fake. If you have special needs or use a wheelchair, you’re better off somewhere else.

The woman at the desk was great when I arrived, but the rest of my experience and the other people I dealt with weren’t good. The dryer doesn’t dry clothes, the beds are horrible, and the place smells funny. They just open the door and walk in. Miscommunication is a terrible excuse for a bad attitude and disrespect. They didn’t even try to make things right. I’ll never return, though I hope everyone else who tries it has a good experience.

The windows wouldn’t lock, so each time we left we had to take our things out to the truck. The place was dusty and dirty, and the couch was so gross we couldn’t sit on it. I’d paid for a double room with two beds but got one room with one bed instead. The staff rudely acted as if they didn’t know what was going on and couldn’t help. Worst motel experience I’ve had. Don’t go there!

We got good value for the money, and our room was tidy and clean. The hotel’s location is great, with lots of chain restaurants nearby, so meals were easy to find. We skipped the pool because we couldn’t get a clear answer about whether it was available.
