Best Western Inn

The beds were comfortable, the place was spotless, and breakfast was solid. The coffee was especially good, which was a nice extra. I didn’t use the pool, but plenty of families were there, so that seemed like a good sign. Great value, and I’d stay again if I’m in the area.

The room was filthy and disgusting. There was blood on the bathroom floor and walls, and the shower reeked and had dried urine in it. The hallway smelled awful too. I found roach eggs and roaches inside the phone, and needle marks on the toilet paper. I had to take a chemical bath after staying there. I’d paid for two nights through Expedia before arriving. At check-in, the young woman at the counter saw roughly 500 bucks in my wallet and said locals had to pay a 150 dollar fee to stay at the motel. I didn’t play along or pay it. They also refused to comp my stay. Absolutely god-awful experience. I’ll never stay there again.

For $94.00 total with tax, this was the best low-priced place I’ve stayed at, and I travel a lot. On 10/8/25 I stayed in Room 103, which was quiet, immaculate, and had plenty of light from four lamps and the overhead fixture. It had a large clock and refrigerator, a good bed, pictures on the walls, a great desk, and lots of counter space by the sink. The bathroom was spotless and had a grab bar in the tub/shower. There was also a full-length mirror.

We booked by phone for January 2nd after mentioning we were seniors and being quoted a senior rate. The bill slipped under our door the next morning showed the full room price, with no discount. I went to the desk and spoke to the same girl who'd taken the reservation. She said she'd sort it out, but the price never changed, and we were charged full price. We really don't appreciate being treated this way. It isn't how you run a business or look after guests, and it's earned a one-star rating. We won't be coming back.
