We loved the cabins for our girls’ weekend. They’re so cozy, and we could walk to the Old Saloon for dinner and live music. Chico Hot Springs is only a 7 minute drive away, which made it easy to spend the day swimming. I’d happily stay here again.

The cabins worked really well as our base for exploring the north side of Yellowstone. There were three of us, and we made good use of the cozy space: we could cook meals and get a nice shower after a day in the park. There’s also a cafe, grocery store, and petrol station nearby. One thing to check is the kitchen gear. Our can opener was unusable, and we only managed to keep cooking because we had a Leatherman tool. The cabins are adorable, and I’d stay here again for the location.

We enjoyed the mountain views from the front porch, plus meals and live music at The Old Saloon and Follow Yer Nose BBQ, and breakfast at Wildflour. The cabin itself was well equipped for cooking and sleeping, and the grill, grassy yard for our dog, fire pit, and laundry facilities all came in handy during our 10 night stay. We had a wonderful time and would gladly come back.

Our stay brought back memories of working at the nearby Story Ranch 62 years ago, which is why we booked these cabins at the end of our week in the Yellowstone area. They turned out to be the best accommodations of our trip: clean, comfortable, quiet, well stocked, and with a great view. We were there Wednesday and Thursday, unfortunately the two days Follow Y'er Nose BBQ and the Bakery were closed. The Old Saloon was still a good experience, though, and we highly recommend staying here.

The fire pit made our couples trip off to a great start. We watched the sun set over the mountains, and they’d supplied wood, roasting sticks, and a lighter. The room was clean and had everything we needed, plus more. Check in was simple after the information email. We walked to the Old Saloon for dinner and had breakfast at Wild Flour Bakery. Our Yellowstone and Tetons trip began on a positive note here, and I’d recommend the cabins to anyone visiting the area.
