We first came here about five years ago, and liked it so much that we bought a timeshare. Now it's our own little slice of heaven to visit every year. This year was extra special because we could bring our twin 2-year-old boys to enjoy the resort and beach. You won't find a cheaper option with private beach access. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but it's beautiful all the same and worth every penny if you're on the fence.

The private beach was especially nice on weekends, when the public beach got crowded. We watched sunrises and dolphins on one side, then sunsets and seashells across the street. Clubs with live music are within walking distance, or you can take the free shuttle. You'll need a car for groceries, boat or wave runner rentals, and parasailing.

CLOSED. I'm posting this so people know the state of the resort. We've been coming here for 40+ years, and it never recovered from the last hurricane. It's being demolished. Our hearts are broken.

We love coming to Englewood Beach and Yacht Club every year, though the time always feels too short. It's a great spot for relaxing or recreation, with beautiful views and friendly people. Mornings bring sunrises from our balcony, and the beach has sunsets. Dolphins swimming right by the docks are awesome to see. The docks are right there for your boat, and nearby you can rent boats, kayak, jet ski, take cruises, or go fishing.

We had a beautiful first year here. Everyone was so friendly, we felt safe, and our room was really nice. We couldn't have been more satisfied, and the weather was perfect too. Such a great time, already looking forward to next year!
