Sunland Inn of Ephrata

I’ve been here for work for the past few weeks, and the construction rate makes their already low prices even better. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and there are several places to eat nearby. They’ll bring extra blankets, pillows, toiletries, and other things if you need them. There’s free WiFi and access to Netflix if you don’t have an account. If you play Pokémon Go, you’re also in range of two stops.

The manager was really nice and helped me with what I needed. I was glad the room was so clean and smelled like Clorox, since that reassured me everything had been disinfected.

I work in town during the week, and this is the only place I stay. It’s a simple motel at a great price, with WiFi and Netflix. The owners are kind and helpful, and I have no complaints.

The room was falling apart, with huge pieces missing from the wall around the AC. It was 104 degrees outside and somehow felt even hotter in the room. I left the AC running for six hours, but the room never cooled down, and the fridge wouldn’t keep anything cold. My two little girls and I had booked two nights for $284 during a weekend visit to Ephrata, but we left after just one. The owner refused to refund the unused night, saying they had turned down other bookings because I was occupying the room.
