We spent three nights here and had a wonderful time. The hosts welcomed us, showed us around, and shared a little of the home's history. Everything felt warm, beautiful, and well cared for. It must take a lot of work to preserve the house. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters. The bed was really comfortable, and the jacuzzi fit both of us easily. Breakfast was delicious and cooked just right. Thanks for the 10/10 hospitality, Steve and Lisa. We’ll always recommend Spencer House!

We’ve stayed at a lot of B&B's over the past decade, and this is probably our favorite, or at least in our top three. My husband and I will definitely return whenever we’re near Erie. The Innkeepers, Steve and Lisa, made us feel welcome right away. The Inn is spotless, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfasts were fantastic. It’s charming and beautiful in person, much more than the photos suggest. The care and service were wonderful.

We felt like royalty in the Presidential Suite. It was quiet and private, and Steve and Lisa were warm, genuine hosts. Breakfasts were exceptional, too. This was our first stay at Spencer House last week, and we’re already talking about returning in the fall. The house is a real showpiece, with amazing original craftsmanship and immaculate housekeeping. There’s simply no reason to stay anywhere else in Erie. Well done, Steve and Lisa!

My 19-year-old daughter has stayed at Spencer House B&B during two trips to Erie, five hours from home. It gives me peace of mind knowing she and her guest are in such good hands, surrounded by all that beauty. She loves it so much that she calls it her “home in Erie.” Steve was professional, accommodating, and super friendly from my first contact with him, and he assured me they’d be well looked after. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, and well appointed. My daughter sent a photo of one of her breakfasts, and it looked delicious. Lisa and Steve have made a lovely experience for their guests. I highly recommend Spencer House B&B to anyone visiting Erie. ❤️
