The managers were always around to answer questions and help with whatever we needed. Our room was quiet and fairly priced, with a microwave and refrigerator, easy-to-adjust heating and air conditioning, and a shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water.

The bed makes noise whenever you move because the mattress rests on a large metal base, and there are no chairs or table to sit and eat at. If you're looking for quiet at night, this isn't the place. It could also be hard for older guests to get onto the bed without help. As for breakfast, I just ate my own bananas. Sorry to disappoint folks in Erwin, TN. I have a video.

I regret spending the money here. For someone hiking the AT, it is an upgrade from the trail shelters, but the hostels in Erwin are much nicer and better value, and they're right by the Trail. A better choice in a lot of ways.

The rooms were nice, and we had a very pleasant stay with friends a couple of weeks ago. The manager was kind and considerate, and the service was good. I'd recommend it to friends coming to Erwin or the surrounding area.

The complimentary breakfast let us down, but we enjoyed our stay. The location worked really well for the things we had planned, and you can see the mountains from the parking lot.
